<div class='\"job-descr' content> This role will be responsible for supporting the accounting function through performance of a variety of tasks including monthly, quarterly, and annual close procedures, policy compliance and reporting requirements. This position reports to the Controller. Essential Responsibilities <ul style='\"margin-bottom:' margin-top:> <li style='\"margin:' line-height: font-size: font-family: calibri sans-serif>Prepare period-ending (monthly/quarterly) journal entries and supporting reconciliations.</li> <li style='\"margin:' line-height: font-size: font-family: calibri sans-serif>Improve timeliness and efficiency of monthly/quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations. </li> <li style='\"margin:' line-height: font-size: font-family: calibri sans-serif>Perform corporate overhead allocations and manage corporate P&amp;L. </li> <li style='\"margin:' line-height: font-size: font-family: calibri sans-serif>Prepare and review internal reporting with Controller and FP&amp;A team. </li> <li style='\"margin:' line-height: font-size: font-family: calibri sans-serif>Performs analytical reviews as required, including researching variances between actual expense activities and budget. </li> <li style='\"margin:' line-height: font-size: font-family: calibri sans-serif>Support review of company transactions and documentation of accounting conclusions. </li> <li style='\"margin:' line-height: font-size: font-family: calibri sans-serif>Support year-end audit and interact with external auditors as necessary.</li> </ul> Qualifications/Requirements <ul style='\"margin-bottom:' margin-top:> <li style='\"margin:' line-height: font-size: font-family: calibri sans-serif>Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA/MBA preferred. </li> <li style='\"margin:' line-height: normal font-size: font-family: calibri sans-serif>Progressive accounting experience. </li> <li style='\"margin:' line-height: normal font-size: font-family: calibri sans-serif>Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.</li> </ul> Skills <ul style='\"margin-top:' margin-bottom:> <li style='\"margin:' line-height: normal font-size: font-family: calibri sans-serif>Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.</li> <li style='\"margin:' line-height: normal font-size: font-family: calibri sans-serif>Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel functions.</li> <li style='\"margin:' line-height: normal font-size: font-family: calibri sans-serif>High level of accuracy and consistency in work output.</li> <li style='\"margin:' line-height: font-size: font-family: calibri sans-serif>Ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend/implement improvements.</li> <li style='\"margin:' line-height: font-size: font-family: calibri sans-serif>Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and collaboration.</li> </ul> Additional Eligibility Requirement DSD will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
