AECOM Mississauga is currently seeking a Civil Construction Administrator – Rail Infrastructure to support a client-based assignment in the Greater Toronto Area. This role focuses on contract oversight for rail-related infrastructure projects.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Act as the primary site representative, operating independently under the overall direction of the Project Manager.</li><li>Collaborate closely with the client and internal project teams to offer construction-related input, evaluate proposed work approaches, verify safety documentation, support permitting processes, and coordinate access to work zones and rail corridors.</li><li>Oversee all contract administration activities on-site and lead the field-based project team.</li><li>Organize, facilitate, and document all project-related meetings, ensuring accurate and timely distribution of minutes.</li><li>Work with engineering and client teams to resolve technical and on-site challenges.</li><li>Monitor construction quality and progress, assess contractor performance, evaluate schedules, payment applications, and contract modifications, and ensure environmental and regulatory compliance.</li><li>Analyze and respond to project developments, including delay claims, change requests, and other construction issues; provide expert insights and technical solutions.</li><li>Produce consistent reporting—daily, weekly, and monthly—complete with photo documentation, highlighting key milestones and concerns.</li><li>Perform routine inspections to validate compliance with contract requirements.</li><li>Supervise contractor activity including timelines, access coordination, logistics, environmental safeguards, testing, and handover procedures.</li><li>Maintain frequent site presence, including occasional overnight or weekend visits if required.</li><li>Promote safe delivery of works by ensuring adherence to all client safety and compliance frameworks.</li><li>Support planning efforts by contributing constructability input and participating in route planning and coordination activities using client-specified tools.</li><li>Engage with various stakeholders to ensure construction objectives are met efficiently, safely, and in alignment with broader project goals.</li></ul> <ul></ul>
