As a Benefit Corporation, we are committed to socially and environmentally responsible business practices, and through the application of sound science, we are driving positive change.Job Overview The Program Coordinator, Product Climate Verification is responsible for supporting the program across all operational aspects including administration, project scoping and budgeting, assistance in client and audit project management, aiding client relations and new business development, maintaining quality assurance, and other areas as required.Relevant Standards/Schemes<ul> <li>Carbon Neutrality Verification and Certification</li> <li>Environmental Product Declaration (EPD)</li> <li>ISO 14025 Environmental Labels and Declarations - Type III</li> <li>ISO 14044 Life Cycle Assessments Environmental Management - LCA</li> <li>ISO 14067 Greenhouse Gases - Carbon Footprint of Products</li> <li>ISO 21930 Sustainability in Buildings and Civil Engineering Works</li> <li>Product Carbon Footprint Verification (PCF)</li></ul>Essential Duties and Responsibilities Project and Financial Coordination<ul> <li>Assist in ensuring documentation related to auditing (e.g., work orders, contracts and agreements, reports, milestone and time tracking, etc.) is properly executed and maintained in compliance with SCS quality management systems and the rules of the relevant certification scheme, where applicable</li> <li>Prepare work orders and invoices for clients</li> <li>Schedule and coordinate audits</li> <li>Carry out travel booking and logistical arrangements, as needed</li> <li>Assist in management of staff auditor schedules, workloads, equipment, and site visit travel arrangements/expenses, and support SCS subsidiaries and subcontractors, as applicable</li> <li>Assist with tracking audit project milestones and deadlines for purposes of invoicing</li> <li>Review and track contractor invoices and staff expenses for accuracy and payment processing</li> <li>Ensure proper forms and information are supplied to schemes in a timely manner</li></ul>Client Support and Communication<ul> <li>Provide exemplary customer service in response to requests and inquiries</li> <li>Assist with preparation of proposals and project budgets</li> <li>Provide information to clients regarding the certification process and relevant requirements</li> <li>Manage daily communications with clients, SCS program personnel, and contract auditors</li> <li>Support the program through client relationship management within a team environment</li></ul>Operations<ul> <li>Assist with organization and maintenance of file systems and client database</li> <li>Assist with editing program materials, communication templates, and report templates</li> <li>Support maintenance of the ISO accreditation and quality system management</li> <li>Support development of operational efficiencies</li> <li>Assist in maintenance of the auditor qualification and skill database (e.g., Auditor Matrix)</li> <li>Collaborate on special projects as assigned</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications<ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or</li> <li>Equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience and</li> <li>2+ years of professional coordination experience</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook</li> <li>Exceptional database management skills with ability to rapidly learn new systems</li> <li>Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines</li> <li>Ability to manage time and work well independently and in team-oriented situations</li> <li>Ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times</li> <li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-service oriented, collaborative team environment</li> <li>Proficiency in English with excellent writing and verbal communication</li> <li>Interest in sustainability</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul> <li>Experience with Salesforce</li></ul>The above description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
