The position is responsible for performing specific and limited portions of project control assignments using prescribed methods and tools. This is an entry level position that requires understanding and application of basic project controls principles and associated project controls software and tools. PCS-I’s may be exposed to more complex aspects of project controls including.Job Responsibilities Generate Periodic Project Controls Analytics (100% in Total)<ul><li>Assist in creating periodic project analysis of related controls metrics to support communication of assigned functions to project leadership.</li><li>This involves interpretation of trends and indicators through gathering, validating, and analyzing data to support project performance metrics.</li><li>Assists project leadership in providing adequate project communications as appropriate.</li></ul>Perform Change Control<ul><li>Assist in tracking, trending, and initiating action for changes to project scope, schedule, and cost.</li><li>Identifies, assesses, gains approval, and initiates change requests in a manner compliant with internal governance, standards, and procedures.</li><li>Assists with change control associated with contract terms and conditions as appropriate.</li><li>Project Controls Benchmarking and Self-Assessment Initiatives</li></ul><ul><li>Participates in benchmarking and assessment initiatives relevant to project controls as assigned.</li><li>Identify improvement opportunities, recommend adoption of Company and Industry best practices, and propose actions to address gaps in performance.</li></ul>Develop Expertise in Project Controls Methodologies<ul><li>Participates in development of project schedules, cost estimates, cash flow, forecasts, change control (scope, cost, or schedule) and communications associated with project controls.</li><li>Participate in development of commercial specifications and exhibits for proposed project contracts with regards to elements of project controls.</li></ul>Basic Qualifications <ul><li>Associate’s degree in finance, Project Management, Business or Engineering</li><li>In lieu of an associate’s degree, a High School Diploma and two years related experience.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications <ul><li>Proficiency: Software including MS Project, Primavera, Financial Related Software, MS Office Suite, Power BI, Project, or Portfolio Management software platforms. </li><li>Demonstrated acumen in communication and presentation. Nuclear power plant experience </li></ul>Specific Requirements <ul><li>Proficiency: Knowledge of project management or project controls concepts.
