We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.<ul><li>Set up the membrane extruder machine according to production specifications, including loading raw materials, adjusting machine settings, and ensuring proper calibration.</li><li>Operate the extrusion machine to produce membrane products, ensuring optimal parameters for temperature, pressure, and speed are maintained for quality output.</li><li>Monitor the entire extrusion process, adjusting as needed to ensure consistent product quality and smooth operation</li><li>Prepare and load materials (such as polymers, additives, and solvents) into the extruder machine, ensuring correct formulations and measurements based on production requirements.</li><li>Inspect finished products for defects, dimensions, and overall quality in compliance with industry standards.</li><li>Conduct routine tests on the extruded membranes to ensure they meet customer and regulatory specifications (e.g., thickness, porosity).</li><li>Make necessary adjustments to the extrusion process to maintain high-quality output.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance on the extruder machine, including cleaning, lubrication, and changing parts as needed.</li><li>Identify and troubleshoot mechanical or operational issues with the machine, resolving minor issues and reporting more complex problems to the maintenance team.</li><li>Record production data, including machine settings, product quantities, and any operational issues or downtime.</li><li>Prepare production reports for supervisors and provide feedback for process improvement.</li><li>Adhere to all safety guidelines and operational procedures to ensure a safe working environment.</li></ul>KEY COMPETENCIES:Extrusion Process Knowledge, Maintenance &amp; Troubleshooting, Problem-Solving &amp; Critical Thinking,Safety Awareness, AdaptabilityWORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS <ul><li>Knowledge of extrusion processes, machinery, and troubleshooting techniques.</li><li>Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems related to extruder operation.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, machine schematics, and blueprints.</li><li>Previous experience in machine operation, preferably in an extrusion or manufacturing environment, is highly preferred.</li><li>Experience working with polymer extrusion, filtration membranes, or related processes is an advantage.</li></ul>EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machine operation or a related field is a plus.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION <ul><li>Physical ability to lift, carry, and move materials of varying weights and sizes.</li><li>Experience on ERP systems (SAP) is advantageous</li><li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment.</li><li>Good communication and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and/or overtime as needed.</li></ul>Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
