These standards provide a framework for organizations to establish, implement, maintain, and continually improve their management systems. This is a contract / freelance position. The contractor must be physically located in Europe with the ability to travel. Working proficiency in English and Dutch, Spanish, or German is required. Experience as an external ISO auditor required.Relevant Services/Schemes<ul> <li>ISO 9001: Quality Management System (QMS)</li> <li>ISO 14001: Environmental Management System (EMS)</li> <li>ISO 45001: Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS)</li></ul>Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesVerification<ul> <li>Independently, or in a team, conduct a robust and detailed verification of our customers to check for compliance against relevant ISO standards.</li> <li>Perform verification in an industrial setting, at companies such as blast furnaces, iron, steel and aluminium foundries and processors, chemical plants, pulp mills, printers.</li> <li>Generate high-quality verification reports, ensuring accurate, detailed, and consistent descriptions of evidence and findings.</li> <li>Be proficient in program and verification requirements, ensuring a pragmatic approach to a wide range of verification circumstances while maintaining the integrity of the program.</li></ul>Communications<ul> <li>Communicate the requirements of ISO standards to clients clearly, effectively, and concisely.</li> <li>Communicate regularly with clients ensuring that Corrective Action Requests are closed within appropriate deadlines.</li> <li>Communicate promptly with SCS staff on the scheduling of verifications and revisions to draft reports, if needed.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications<ul> <li>Certification as an ISO external auditor (e.g., IRCA or equivalent).</li> <li>Relevant experience in auditing management systems. At least 2 full certification cycles.</li> <li>Knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) and their requirements.</li> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Ability to analyze data and evaluate processes objectively.</li> <li>Familiarity with industry-specific processes and regulations (depending on the sector).</li> <li>Working proficiency in English for reading, writing, and verbal communications.</li> <li>Working proficiency in Dutch, Spanish, and/or German. Other languages a plus.</li></ul>
