AECOM is seeking an Electrical Estimator to be based in one of the following locations: Seattle, WA or Remotely.The responsibilities of the Electrical Estimator include:<ul><li>Works with the Company estimating systems and processes. </li><li>Applies estimating terminology, measures, concepts, and principles.</li><li>Recognizes how various processes/project actions and assumptions may impact the project estimates and begin to assist in quantifying the impact.  </li></ul>Technical Skills:<ul><li>Ability to work with limited supervision</li><li>Prepares bid packages, conceptual estimates and analysis of subcontractor bids, etc. for projects.</li><li>Performs duties with some complexity under general supervision.  </li><li>Expected to assist in the preparation of larger and more complex estimating assignments including the Estimate Plan.</li><li>Understands the AECOM costing structure (overheads, G&amp;A, insurance, etc.)</li><li>Develops wage rate build-ups.</li><li>Reads and interprets drawings and specifications.</li><li>Develops detailed material take-offs for estimate development and field procurement of bulk materials.</li><li>Develops cash flow schedules and estimates.</li><li>Survey of market price for construction materials and labors in various professional level</li><li>Perform Electrical estimates at all design stages from concept to completed design documents.</li><li>Able to use software such as Navisworks, Autocad, Bluebeam and Trimble to provide cost estimates.</li><li>Review sub contractor’s down time during construction and check cost impact</li><li>Review design change in terms of cost impact (Quotation review for subcontract’s change order)</li><li>Make an estimate or quotation for change order or design change etc.</li><li>Perform value engineering and estimate cost saving due the VE </li><li>Compile and record all related documents</li><li>Coordination with subcontractors</li><li>Cost consulting from inception to completion and ongoing cost advice to clients at a portfolio level. </li></ul>
