<p>Main responsibilities will include: </p><ul><li>Drive the growth of the existing Belgian clients’ portfolio (and responsible for business development, develop business plans and strategies to attract new customers / new markets )</li><li>Responsible for the development of long-term partnerships with the key accounts and the further expansion of the customer portfolio.</li><li>Develop and maintain a commercial plan that generates a relevant pipeline to secure significant organic growth</li><li>The responsibility for directing and monitoring the 8 sales team members to realize the proposed targets. Outlining the broad context for the team, determining the priorities and acting as a sounding board.</li><li>Take up an active commercial role to Key Accounts and in the work out of (developing) strategic deals. Must be able to walk the talk.</li><li>Developing together with the team a professional sales plan for each client; defines pricing, sets sales volumes and mix, customer profitability targets per product and service.</li><li>Closely monitoring market developments and responding efficiently to new opportunities.</li><li>Implementing the defined commercial strategy and continuing to build an efficient and customer-friendly commercial operation with an eye for quality and delivery reliability.</li><li>Overseeing the sales activities and ensuring that the set objectives are achieved, in line with the strategic business plan.</li><li>Guaranteeing smooth cooperation between the various departments: sales support, production (laboratories), logistics, and striving for more quality and consistency in operation.</li><li>Implementing a continuous improvement culture and propagating it.</li><li>Ensuring the smooth roll-out of the new CRM tool, training of sales team</li></ul>
