Runwise is looking for an Account Executive to help expand our footprint across the Tri-state Region. This person will be responsible for introducing our platform to new building owners and property managers, as well as growing existing customer accounts with us. This candidate will be supported by generated leads, but success will hinge on creativity, tenacity and a “get it done” attitude.Runwise is a fast-paced, customer-focused climate-tech startup that controls and runs the key energy systems (heating, cooling, water, etc…) in 9,500+ buildings throughout the world. Runwise’s unique hardware and software service significantly reduces energy usage, substantially lowering costs and carbon output. As of today, Runwise’s technology takes the equivalent of 100,000 cars off the road each year.As an AE at Runwise you will manage your own time and pipeline, set priorities, meet monthly goals, and work directly with Runwise leadership on the most pressing initiatives within our rapidly scaling business.  This position will report into the Outbound Sales Manager and SVP of Sales.Please note this is an in-person role. We are flexible with remote work, but the ideal candidate will want to spend as much time as possible in the office learning from the team, gaining exposure to leadership, and regularly getting into the field to meet clients and attend events. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Building and maintaining a sales pipeline with a high conversion rate</li><li>Being ahead of the curve on all industry trends </li><li>Consistently identifying new sales opportunities through networking and customer referrals</li><li>Analyzing sales performance metrics and artfully negotiating contracts</li><li>Constantly demonstrating first-class communication, pipeline management and customer service skills to develop long-lasting relationships with customers</li><li>Helping to identify customer needs and communicate how company products and services may fulfill those needs </li><li>Meeting and, sometimes, exceeding sales quota on a quarterly and annual basis</li><li>Attending in-person meetings and events throughout the NYC area to develop your own book of business</li></ul> Who you are:<ul><li>You have worked 3+ years as an AE in a sales role and have surpassed quota and/or was one of the highest revenue drivers in previous sales positions</li><li>You ideally have real estate experience and a deep network of contacts within the industry</li><li>You are skilled in CRM software, ideally Salesforce</li><li>You have outstanding negotiation, consulting, and customer facing sales skills</li><li>You have strong analytical and problem solving skills</li><li>Willing to self-source to maintain a strong pipeline.
