You will be responsible for program security, ranging from factory site security planning to information protection programs; experience in both physical and cyber security is a plus. You will have strategic control and autonomy in the shaping of our security department and philosophy as we grow our operations. A successful candidate will be one who thinks creatively and implements lightweight and logical solutions to regulatory requirements. We a looking for a proactive leader who can mature our security program as we expand our operations.Responsibilities and Duties:  <ul><li>Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive physical security strategies and policies.</li><li>Oversee the management of access control systems and surveillance technology.</li><li>Develop emergency response and crisis management plans, interfacing with local law enforcement and first responders.</li><li>Manage budget and resources for security infrastructure and personnel. </li><li>Lead cybersecurity audits, assessments, and control testing. </li><li>Review operational requirements and system specification documents to ensure applicable security requirements are addressed and incorporated into security processes.</li><li>Educate stakeholders on modern and efficient means for protecting material and information. </li><li>Serve as our liaison with regulators, auditors, and government stakeholders.</li></ul>Required Qualifications &amp; Skills:<ul><li>7+ years of experience in physical security, preferably in a defense or high-security environment. </li><li>Strong understanding of physical security principles, access control systems, and surveillance technology.</li><li>Proven track record of developing and implementing security policies and procedures.</li><li>Knowledge of relevant federal and state regulations affecting nuclear and defense industry security.</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field.</li></ul>Desired Qualifications &amp; Skills:<ul><li>Direct experience with nuclear security regulations (NRC 10 CFR 73).</li><li>Experience in managing a team of security professionals and interfacing with executive leadership.</li><li>Familiarity with ICS/OT cybersecurity in energy or defense environments.</li><li>Prior work with COMSEC, insider threat programs, or physical-cyber integration.</li><li>Professional certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, PCI from ASIS International).</li><li>Previous experience working with defense contracts and understanding of ITAR and EAR regulations.</li></ul>Additional Requirements<ul><li>Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as necessary to accomplish our mission.</li><li>Must work 100% onsite at El Segundo HQ.</li></ul><div>Total Compensation and BenefitsRadiant's new hire compensation package includes base salary, substantial equity grants, and comprehensive benefits.
