AECOM is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to be based in San Diego, CA. <ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports primarily using Microsoft Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and usability for various business stakeholders.</li><li>Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks, including data cleaning and validation, to ensure data integrity and reliability for reporting purposes.</li><li>Collaborate closely with business users across departments (e.g., Project Managers, PM Supervisors/Project Leads, various other business entities) to understand their data needs, define requirements, and deliver analytical solutions that address key business questions.</li><li>Translate complex data into clear, concise, and compelling visual stories and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences through various platforms including SharePoint and Excel.</li><li>Support ongoing data analysis efforts by identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities within datasets to provide actionable insights.</li><li>Ensure data governance and best practices are followed in all reporting and dashboard solutions.</li><li>Assist Project Managers in leveraging project data and provide support with scheduling needs and questions.</li><li>Provide support for basic SharePoint administration tasks, such as managing user permissions and groups.</li><li>Conduct basic data entry tasks and assist with compiling reports using Microsoft Excel and similar software tools.</li><li>Review, compare, and critique monthly compliance reports to ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment with department program objectives.</li></ul>
