With 2 GW of solar and battery energy storage projects, we are well positioned for continued success in the rapidly growing clean energy sector.Job SummaryThe Electrical General Foreman will oversee and coordinate all electrical activities on utility-scale solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. This role requires hands-on leadership, ensuring crews perform safe, high-quality, and efficient work in alignment with project schedules, drawings, and specifications. The Electrical General Foreman will also serve as a key liaison between field crews, site management, and project leadership.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead and supervise electrical crews on utility-scale solar and BESS construction projects.</li><li>Plan, assign, and monitor daily work activities, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and safety requirements.</li><li>Coordinate installation of PV arrays, DC collection systems, medium- and high-voltage terminations, grounding, inverters, and BESS equipment.</li><li>Oversee quality control and ensure installations meet NEC, NESC, and project-specific requirements.</li><li>Maintain accurate daily reports, including crew hours, progress tracking, and material usage.</li><li>Train and mentor apprentices, journeymen, and foremen, developing workforce skills and performance.</li><li>Collaborate with site superintendents, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and keep projects on schedule.</li><li>Ensure strict adherence to company safety policies, OSHA standards, and client-specific safety requirements.</li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>Not afraid of heights and able to climb on top of roofs.</li><li>Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.</li><li>Able to work in confined spaces.</li></ul>Physical Demands<ul><li>Ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance).</li><li>Manual dexterity required while working with tools.</li><li>Able to stand for prolonged periods, bend, kneel, squat, and reach at or above shoulder level.</li></ul>Travel<ul><li>Willing and able to travel based on the needs of the business.</li></ul>Other DutiesAs required, please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
