POSITION SUMMARY The Membership Associate supports the Center’s 90,000 members and 1,800,000 supporters by following best practices in nonprofit member stewardship, gift entry and donation processing. The Membership Associate interacts daily with members, donors, and activists to share information about the Center’s work, and engage them to build community, increase their support and strengthen relationships. This position communicates and collaborates with other development, membership, leadership, finance, conservation and communications staff to fulfill their role in keeping Center members and supporters engaged and appreciated. There are seasonal periods of increased intensity in this role’s work tied to spring, year-end and ad hoc fundraising campaigns.
