Our record USD 4.6 billion order backlog and strong book-to-bill ratio reflect long-term confidence in our mission and solutions.Join us at Landis+Gyr, where we manage energy better!  Key Areas of Responsibility<ul><li>Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery of targets.</li><li>Prepare and raise purchase orders and order schedules.</li><li>Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments, and communicate any supply problems which may impact business operations.</li><li>Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing activities.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures.</li><li>Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organization.</li><li>Work closely with others in the procurement team and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business improvements.</li><li>Build, maintain and ensure that a professional and consistent approach is followed in relation to all suppliers.</li><li>Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues.</li><li>Liaise with suppliers by phone and emails.</li></ul>  Requirements<ul><li>University degree.</li><li>1-3 years proven experience in Supply Chain/Logistics environment.  </li><li>Solid understanding of Supply Chain processes.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English</li></ul>  Optional Skills<ul><li>Communication skills in German (verbal and writing).</li><li>Post graduate studies will be considered as an asset.</li><li>Working experience in a multinational company.</li></ul> We value and encourage diversity in our team.
