Our trucks are designed to perform under the toughest conditions.JOB SUMMARY: The Machine Operator is responsible to set up and operate various machines in milling, drilling, boring, turning, threading and grinding operations, using specialized or general-purpose work holding devices. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned. Set up and operate five (5) or more various machines with little to no quality defects. Read N/C tapes and readbacks as directed. Adjust cams, switches, tool stops, feeds and speeds to hold tolerances and operate machinery efficiently. Load, unload and check parts to assure quality. Deburr parts as directed. Be alert to machine malfunctions and report malfunctions to foreman. Efficiently feed the fabrication department using a forklift. Provide production and quality guidance. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:   Previous experience operating Break press or laser. Ability to read a tape measure, protractor, and find angles. Ability to count and perform basic math. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and prints. Ability to problem solve. Strong attention to detail. Ability to cross-train.                                                                                                                                         PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or its equivalent.Five (5) or more years of experience in machine operating or manufacturing environment or an evaluated equivalent. Operational knowledge of CNC cutting machines, press brakes, drills and saws.
