In this role, you will lead the development of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving (AD) features by architecting and delivering robust, high-performance software for embedded compute platforms.</p><p><strong>Your Role</strong></p><ul><li>Design and implement efficient, reliable software components for embedded AD platforms, including sensor drivers, middleware, diagnostics, perception, planning, control modules, and customer-facing ADAS/AD features.</li><li>Optimize software performance, safety, and security using state-of-the-art algorithms and dedicated hardware accelerators.</li><li>Integrate, test, and validate software modules to ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and high-quality benchmarks.</li><li>Collaborate within a fast-paced, agile development team focused on delivering cutting-edge autonomous driving technologies.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Proven excellence in embedded C programming.</li><li>Strong experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and microcontrollers.</li><li>Expertise in board bring-up and device driver development for peripherals such as I2C, UART, and SPI.</li><li>Demonstrated success in developing AUTOSAR-compliant software for embedded systems.</li><li>Hands-on experience with AUTOSAR configuration tools (e.g., EB Tresos, DaVinci Configurator, DaVinci Developer).</li><li>Solid understanding of automotive diagnostics protocols (UDS, DoIP).</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with Infineon Aurix or other advanced microcontrollers.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret schematics and datasheets.</li><li>Proficiency in debugging low-level embedded systems using tools like Lauterbach or iSystem.</li><li>Familiarity with automotive communication networks (CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet, LIN).</li><li>Experience with scripting tools to streamline development and testing workflows.</li><li>Knowledge of testing methodologies including unit, HIL, and SIL testing.</li><li>Understanding of Functional Safety (FuSa) and ISO 26262 standards.</li><li>Awareness of MISRA C/C++ guidelines and ASPICE compliance.</li><li>Experience with V-Model and functional safety development processes.</li></ul><p><strong>Education &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.</li><li>Ideally 8+ years of professional experience in embedded software development for automotive applications.</li></ul><div> </div><div>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
