We are now looking for a Portfolio Manager Vattenfall R&amp;D Strategy and Portfolio management is looking for a result-oriented Portfolio Manager with the ability to lead and plan innovation and R&amp;D with a clear business focus at our office in Solna or Älvkarleby, Sweden. The Portfolio Managers identify and prioritize the business needs, formulate development plans in different time horizons, negotiate the related budget and resources, and prepare an execution plan, in cooperation with the line management.    Main tasks  The R&amp;D Portfolio Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategic alignment, planning, and execution of the R&amp;D project portfolio. This position ensures that all projects and programs within the portfolio are effectively managed to meet business objectives and content, stay within budget, and comply with governance standards. By coordinating with key stakeholders and maintaining accurate progress reporting, the Portfolio Manager enables informed decision-making, optimizes resource utilization, and drives continuous improvement across R&amp;D initiatives. Single-point-of-contact for the BU, as well as external stakeholders in the respective area. Ensure knowledge transfer between all portfolios/programs. Leads and support the portfolio via sub-ordinate program managers (or product owners).  Further responsibilities: <ul><li>Strategic portfolio planning: Translate Business Area (BA) priorities in R&amp;D activities and plans, develop 3-yr roadmap </li><li>Stakeholder Management: Act as the main contact between project teams, Product Owners, Section Managers, and Steering Groups to ensure alignment on portfolio goals, priorities, and resource needs. Organize Portfolio Review Board meetings (PRBs) and Portfolio Steering Group meetings (PSGs) </li><li>Portfolio managementgmt: Responsible for assuring the portfolio's budget, business plan, and delivery plan (content and time). Monitor and report projects performance and provide insights and analysis to drive informed decision-making by the Portfolio Review Board, Steering Groups and R&amp;D MT </li><li>Leadership: Provide strong leadership and mentorship to subordinate program managers and product owners, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. </li></ul>
