We pride ourselves on being a market leader in our field, working globally with high profile clients in fin tech, HQ offices, smart campuses, and smart buildings.  Our reputation has led to us advising on global technology benchmarking and technological certification of buildings. We work across a range of market sectors including leading entertainment venues, workspace and residential, mission critical and academia, work that has seen us feed into the new technical approach for MENA (Middle East North Africa) region and assessing smart systems for the technical evolution.<h2>The Role</h2>This is an excellent opportunity for a ELV Consultant who wants to grow and develop with a leading ELV Team. You will have a foundation knowledge of IT, AV and Security systems based on an academic background with some work-based experience.  An ability to engage and interact with stakeholders, you will get the chance to play a role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative design solutions whilst receiving technical training, experiences, and new digital skillsets. You will collaborate with the wider Cundall team and external partners, working closely with colleagues of various disciplines to help the delivery of technically excellent and successful projects. The role will include design delivery, technical calculations, producing models and drawings. You will be measured against established deliverables, through mentoring and team management. You will also support, and be supported by, senior management staff within the team, embracing the collaborative and supportive behaviors Cundall exhibit.<h2>The Skills</h2>Educated to degree level in Electronics Engineering or Computer Sciences (MEng, BEng), working towards, or already be, a member of a professional institute.  You will be aiming for a career in ELV and technology systems design and construction. Minimum 3- 5 years of experience working in an engineering design consultancy. Essential traits for the successful candidate include:   <ul> <li>Ability to take ownership for tasks and deliverables.  </li> <li>Capacity to think around problems and help guide the team and client towards solutions.  </li> <li>Experience with the industry recognized Engineering Software and certification preferred.</li> <li>Organized and confident communicator.   </li> <li>Knowledge and experience in designing and managing Extra Low Voltage distribution systems including but not limited to:  Structured Cabling System &amp; Active IT Systems, Access Control System, Intruder Detection System, Video Surveillance (CCTV) and other security systems, Video Conference and Audio-Visual Equipment, BGM&amp; Public Address.  </li> <li>Design of all assigned project drawings in accordance with company and project instructions (Schematics diagrams, installation details, wiring diagrams, etc.)  </li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications. </li> <li>Working knowledge of document production using Autodesk software as Revit. </li> <li>Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.   </li> <li>Able to work on AutoCAD drawings.  </li> <li>Understanding of 3D architectural model with basic skillsets to navigate and work on 3D Revit Models.   </li> <li>Self-motivated with good communication skills including written and spoken.  </li> <li>Well versed with all relevant Middle East codes. </li> <li>Well equipped with report writing skills, prepare specification without any support.</li> <li>Develop comprehensive ELV system designs including IT, access control, CCTV, structured cabling, and audio-visual systems. </li> <li>Create detailed technical specifications, schematic diagrams using CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit. </li> <li>Produce engineering calculations using appropriate software.</li> <li>Work with engineering teams to develop solutions for successful project delivery.</li> <li>Attend project meetings as required.</li> <li>Coordinate with the project’s stakeholders such as clients, architects and inter discipline engineering teams for services coordination.</li> <li>Tools and software Exp: Revit MEP, AutoCAD, BIM360, Navisworks, Ekahau and Ease.</li></ul>Job Description  Why Join Cundall? We know that to be the best at what we do we need a diverse workforce underpinned by an inclusive culture.
