About This Opportunity: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Underwriter to join the underwriting team. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, an eagerness to learn, and a desire to grow within renewable finance. This is a career-track role designed for someone who wants to develop into an Underwriter Analyst in the renewable energy finance industry. Responsibilities:<ul><li style="margin-left:8px;">Support underwriting of renewable energy project finance. </li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Review and analyze project documentation (PPAs, EPC contracts, O&amp;M agreements, interconnection agreements, insurance policies, etc.).</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Assist in due diligence efforts, coordinating with internal teams and external advisors </li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Maintain organized data rooms and assist with compliance documentation.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Collaborating with cross-functional teams </li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Stay up to date on renewable energy industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory developments that impact underwriting assumptions.</li></ul>Key Competencies:<ul><li style="margin-left:8px;">Analytical Thinking – Ability to evaluate complex project documents.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Attention to Detail – Precision in reviewing contracts, financial statements, and risk assessments.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Communication – Strong written and verbal communication </li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Problem Solving – Proactive approach to identifying risks and developing solutions.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Time Management – Ability to manage multiple deals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Collaboration – Works effectively across teams and with external stakeholders.
