ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to the following areas:<ul><li>First article, in process, and final inspection of parts using a variety of metrology equipment</li><li>Working with manufacturing, engineering, customer, and/or supplier personnel in problem solving efforts</li></ul>   ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:<ul><li>Understanding of interpretation of engineering drawings and Geometric Dimensioning and</li></ul>Tolerancing.<ul><li>Basic understanding of measuring instruments used for inspections.</li><li>General knowledge of common manufacturing processes to produce parts, such as machining, metal fabrication, welding, heat treating, etc.</li><li>Technical writing skills for reports and specifications using MS Word and Excel; good platform skills using PowerPoint for presentations.</li></ul>Desired Education and Training: BS or MS candidate in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering   Desired Specialized Knowledge and Skills:<ul><li>Familiarity with manipulating 3D models to be used in 3D metrology measuring software packages</li><li>Ability to interpret measurement findings to provide feedback to manufacturing with the goal of improving part quality</li></ul>Pay Range: $18.00 - $37.00<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div>The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations.
