The Supv Renewables is responsible for committing to the work plans, executing the plans and schedules, and providing oversight to the work assigned to that group. Safety, environmental compliance, productivity and quality are all critical responsibilities of the role. The Supv Renewables will identify and address barriers, follow all aspects of the Renewables work management process, and effectively communicate the plans and direction of the organization to the workforce. This position will also focus on employee development and performance management for their direct reports. The Supervisor Renewables must be highly engaged in the construction and integration of new solar and BESS sites. Ongoing focus will be the oversight of solar and BESS site maintenance, managing 3rd party service providers required to provide deliverables outlined in contracts such as O&amp;M agreements.The Supervisor Renewables – Mountain region will have overall responsibility for Maiden Creek Solar and BESS, Gaston Solar, Beaverdam Solar, Asheville BESS, Craggy BESS, and Cliffside BESS.<h2>Basic/Required Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Associate's degree and 3 yrs related experience</li><li>In Lieu of Degree and 3 years related experience, HS Diploma/GED and 7 years related experience</li></ul><h2></h2><h2>Additional Preferred Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Knowledge &amp; experience with electrical circuits, electro-mechanical construction principles</li><li>Experience in overseeing contractors and administering programs relating to policy, contracts &amp; procedures</li><li>Knowledge of Environmental, Health &amp; Safety measures/controls</li><li>Work management processes, Maximo scheduling, contractor oversight, contract management, project management</li><li>Financial knowledge and skills including ability to analyze data</li><li>3 years previous supervisor experience</li><li>5-7 years solar experience</li><li>Formal electrical training, NFPA70E Training, PV industry specific training</li><li>3 years supervisory / contractor oversight experience</li><li>Experience with Battery Storage Technology.</li></ul><h2>Working Conditions</h2><ul><li>Field Mobility Classification – Work will be performed in various field locations, as needed, after the onboarding period.
