The plan covers a wide array of plant, overhead line and cables assets covering all voltages, which all have clear targets for costs and volumes which must be delivered over the 5-year price control period.</li><li>Provide advice and guidance to other SPEN departments to ensure that contractual obligations are understood and managed effectively, Support in preparing presentations and responses to requests for information from internal and external bodies.</li><li>Translate the Guidance from the Regulator to support the business, and identify opportunities for outperformance, whilst mitigating risks to ensure that returns from the Regulatory Contract are maximised. </li><li>Facilitate investment paper approvals to ensure in line with Regulatory allowance. Support and administer Investment approvals via governance, with the Control function, ensuring alignment with regulatory allowance.</li><li>Work closely with the Licence businesses to ensure that their performance is understood, and that key issues are highlighted to appropriate stakeholders. Provide insight to Senior Leadership, and guidance on areas of focus.</li><li>Identify and develop the systems and process to master the regulatory contract plan “the masterplan” within visible and accessible corporate systems aligned with principles and processes.</li><li>Cultivating effective working relationships is key - work closely with stakeholders within Network Planning &amp; Regulation, Control, and the Licences.</li><li>Strong linkage to Control and the Commercial &amp; Performance/Licence Programme functions in the Licensees, ensuring that boundaries of responsibility and future requirements are met.</li></ul>What you’ll bringTo be successful, you will have:<ul><li>A degree in a relevant subject such as Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Finance or similar qualifications such as ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). This academic foundation will support your ability to understand and analyse complex financial and operational data within the energy sector.</li><li>Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a sharp attention to detail that enables you to interpret data accurately and draw meaningful insights.
