<div>Description</div><div>Hiring in multiple locations: Austin, TX; New Orleans, LA; New York, NY; St. Louis, MO As a member of the investment team, an associate’s primary role is to participate as an integral part of deal teams in the sourcing, underwriting and execution of investments into new or existing portfolio companies. These investments include venture capital, private equity and debt investments, all of which support the fund mandates of generating returns while creating community impact and supporting businesses in underserved parts of the United States. With the other members of the applicable deal team, the associate performs due diligence, prepares financial models and investment presentations, negotiates terms, and assists with execution and documentation during closing. Equally importantly, associates help to monitor and support our existing portfolio of investments. Other duties include:<ul><li>Evaluate potential equity and/or debt investments in operating companies in various industries, which provide a measurable impact alongside financial return.</li><li>Meet with management and conduct on-site due diligence as part of the investment process.
