This role ensures that HR technology initiatives align with organizational strategy, enhance operational efficiency, and provide an optimal experience for all team members. This position offers a significant opportunity to drive impactful change and contribute directly to the efficiency and effectiveness of our People team operations. This role will be based in our Santa Cruz, CA location.</p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul> <li>Develop and manage comprehensive project plans for HRIS implementations, upgrades, and system enhancements.</li> <li>Lead requirements gathering sessions with HR and business stakeholders.</li> <li>Direct and manage the comprehensive process of identifying, evaluating, and selecting new software applications.</li> <li>Oversee data migration activities, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and security throughout the process.</li> <li>Collaborate with stakeholders to configure, test, and validate HRIS solutions.</li> <li>Work with vendors to ensure successful system integrations.</li> <li>Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans, including communication strategies, training material development, and end-user support models to facilitate smooth go live and adoption of new HRIS solutions.</li> <li>Provide guidance and support to HR and end-users post-implementation.</li></ul><h2>Required</h2><ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Human Resources, Project Management, or a related field.</li> <li>5 years of progressive experience managing technology projects, with at least 3 years specifically focused on HRIS implementation or significant upgrade projects.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in leading at least one full-cycle HRIS implementation (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle, UKG, etc.).</li> <li>Functional understanding of various HRIS modules (e.g., Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time &amp; Attendance, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management).</li></ul><h2>Desired</h2><ul> <li>Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or other recognized project management certification.</li> <li>Familiarity with process mapping and business process re-engineering.</li> <li>Experience with change management methodologies.</li></ul><p> </p><p>Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $110,400 - $175,600/yr.
