You will be responsible for developing and integrating new technologies into Lime vehicles to further improve rider experience and fleet maintainability. Candidates outside the Bay Area should expect to travel to San Francisco approximately 10–15% of the time, along with occasional international travel.What You'll Do:<ul style=""><li>Develop various electrical subsystems used in Lime vehicles and parking infrastructure, including system architecture definition and component selection, schematic capture, PCBA layout, board bring-up, and test.</li><li>Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.</li><li>Collaborate on component selection and own design of various RF modules, including antenna design and optimization.</li><li>Become an expert in Lime’s core technologies, staying well informed on and bringing the latest technologies to your area of focus.</li><li>Debug &amp; troubleshoot complex electrical problems, bringing new ideas and proposing innovative solutions to our existing challenges.</li><li>Bring documentation best practices to Lime to help develop design guidelines, testing protocols, and test reports.</li><li>Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the professional development of the team.</li></ul>About You:<ul style=""><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.</li><li>7+ years of industry experience as an Electrical Engineer, seeing products through every phase of the development cycle.</li><li>Proficient in PCB design, production, and testing with a strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, power systems, and embedded systems.</li><li>Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul style=""><li>Previous experience developing various RF protocols, including: LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, etc.</li><li>Proficient in Altium designer</li><li>Experience working with JDM/ODM</li><li>Experience working on a remote, distributed team</li><li>Developed hardware-in-the-loop testing</li></ul>What We Offer<ul style=""><li>Comprehensive Health &amp; Wellness: A choice of medical, dental, and vision plans.
