The successful candidate must reside within the territory and will be working remotely. The compensation for this position is between $78,200 and $97,700 annually, based on experience and qualifications.Job SummaryThe successful candidate will manage the sales activity for Mechanical Customers (Plumbing / HVAC / Industrial) in Ottawa-Gatineau-Kingston.  This will include calling on IPEX distributors, mechanical / HVAC / industrial contractors, specifying engineers, developers, and inspectorsPrincipal Responsibilities<ul><li>Become a trusted advisor to all industry stakeholders by offering technical and overall market expertise.</li><li>Develop long-term relationships with distributors, contractors, &amp; engineers and secure their commitment to our products.</li><li>Protect existing IPEX market as well as grow share by converting contractors &amp; engineers from traditional metal piping systems to IPEX Mechanical Systems.</li><li>Promote IPEX products at industry trade shows, distributor training sessions, engineering lunch &amp; learns, and contractor installation trainings.</li><li>Investigate and follow up on sales leads and potential new markets.</li><li>Collaborate with and support IPEX sales colleagues to achieve Team objectives.</li><li>Work closely with IPEX Customer Service, Innovation, Marketing, and Product Management.</li><li>Track sales activity in CRM, provide monthly market reports, and contribute to forecasting &amp; market share exercises.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>University degree or College Diploma is an asset.</li><li>Minimum 3-5 years of successful experience in sales and customer facing activities.</li><li>Excellent command of the English language – Bilingual in French &amp; English is required.</li><li>Construction Industry experience is an asset.</li><li>Proven excellent communication and presentation skills.</li><li>The ability to work independently with strong self-motivation skills.</li><li>Willingness to travel overnight 20% of the time.</li></ul> IPEX is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and, upon request, will work with qualified job applicants to provide suitable accommodation in a manner that takes into account the applicant’s accessibility needs due to disability.
