No prior experience is required, just a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a passion for working with your hands. This is a great opportunity to start a career in metalworking and gain valuable skills in both welding and machining. This is a Contract position.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist in basic welding tasks including MIG and TIG welding under supervision</li><li>Operate and maintain basic machining equipment such as lathes, mills, and grinders</li><li>Read and interpret technical drawings</li><li>Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other tools</li><li>Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding or machining</li><li>Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment</li><li>Support senior welders and machinists with daily tasks and projects</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>High school diploma or GED preferred</li><li>No prior welding or machining experience required (willing to train)</li><li>Basic math and measurement skills</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods</li><li>Willingness to learn and take direction</li><li>Strong attention to detail and safety  </li></ul>Pay Range: $18.00 - $26.00 per hourApplicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.  Salary Range: Pay TransparencyThe anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
