Currently, we are looking to strengthen our team by hiring a Junior Strategic Buyer (Indirect). The main responsibility of the person in this role will be to manage the procurement of indirect goods within the assigned organization.Responsibilities / TasksScope of Responsibilities / Role<ul><li>Analyze and develop supplier markets while maintaining an optimal cost structure.</li><li>Implement the sourcing strategy for the indirect materials category.</li><li>Drive cost‑reduction initiatives in collaboration with other departments.</li><li>Create purchase orders and prepare delivery schedules.</li><li>Prepare tender documentation and participate in bidding processes.</li><li>Take part in negotiations with suppliers.</li><li>Support supplier evaluation processes.</li><li>Actively contribute to purchasing projects.</li><li>Report selected key performance indicators (KPIs).</li><li>Closely cooperate with the Bydgoszcz plant as well as production sites in Germany.</li><li>Work within a global matrix structure, ensuring effective implementation of agreed changes.</li></ul> Personal Competencies and Working Style<ul><li>Strong independence and excellent work organization.</li><li>Team-oriented approach, strong communication abilities, and openness to collaboration.</li><li>Assertiveness — ability to effectively introduce and reinforce changes within a global matrix environment.</li><li>Openness to communication and cooperation in a multicultural setting.</li><li>Ability to work both with the local team in Bydgoszcz and colleagues in Germany.</li></ul>Your Profile / Qualifications<ul><li>University degree, preferably in logistics or production management.</li><li>At least one year of experience in strategic purchasing — we are seeking a candidate already experienced in purchasing.</li><li>Experience in conducting purchasing negotiations.</li><li>Very good command of English (daily international communication); German language skills are a strong advantage.</li><li>Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.</li><li>SAP knowledge is an asset.</li></ul>Did we spark your interest?
