This person is a self-starter, flexible, has a high level of integrity, and is comfortable in a fast-paced environment. The Senior Accountant must be able to prioritize and multitask as they will be involved with each area of the accounting cycle for a variety of businesses. </span></div><br><br><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li><b>Financial Reporting &amp; Close: </b>Act as a major contributor in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including the preparation of monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and fluctuation analysis, ensuring compliance with US GAAP.</li><li><b>Accounts Payable (AP):</b> Review, investigate, and reconcile daily AP activities, including vendor wires and payment adjustments. Perform analysis on key terms, categories, and resolve purchase<b> order </b>(PO) to invoice discrepancies.</li><li><b>Accruals &amp; Prepaids Management:</b> Manage accrual processes for recurring and non-recurring expenses, ensuring completeness and accuracy. A CPA certification is strongly preferred.</li><li><b>Experience:</b> Minimum of 3-5+ years of combined experience in Public and Private Accounting is strongly preferred.</li><li><b>Technical Skills:</b> Advanced analytical and Excel skills are essential.
