In this broad role, you ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll and coordinate international payroll in collaboration with a specialized partner. You act as the first point of contact for all payroll and hard HR-related matters, while ensuring compliance with HR policies and legislation. Beyond payroll, you take ownership of a wide scope of HR operations: benefits administration, fleet management and the management of our HR systems and platforms. You play a central role in guaranteeing efficient HR administration and seamless employee experience throughout the organization. <h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Ensure accurate and timely payroll for Belgian employees in close collaboration with our payroll partner. </li><li>Coordinate international payroll processes with a specialized partner. </li><li>Act as the primary contact for hard HR-related questions from employees and external stakeholders. </li><li>Maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with legislation. </li><li>Onboard new employees with an explanation of their salary and benefits and follow-up on the onboarding and offboarding process. </li><li>Administer employee benefits and manage partnerships (e.g. Payflip, KBC, DKV, Lease A Bike). </li><li>Manage and further develop the HR platform Officient. </li><li>Act as Fleet Manager, coordinating with partners and contributing to defining the company car offer. </li><li>Support training administration and manage processes linked to training provision. </li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>A degree in HR, Social Law, Personnel Management or equivalent through experience. </li><li>Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in payroll and HR administration. </li><li>Strong knowledge of Belgian social legislation; international payroll experience is an advantage. </li><li>Experience and knowledge of compensation and benefits is a strong plus. </li><li>Fluent in Dutch and English. </li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. </li><li>Ability to manage a broad range of responsibilities independently, while collaborating effectively with the team. </li></ul>BenefitsAt Smappee we believe in a modern and dynamic work environment where you can be yourself and truly inspire people to contribute to a better planet.
