They are responsible for high-level external relationship management and act as customer liaison during delivery of any solution. They are strategically focused and responsible for customer satisfaction, maintaining customer communication, and the overall management of customer relationships. Program Managers are responsible for masterminding, outlining, and driving programs to completion. They are responsible for vendor management, budget management, risk identification and mitigation, program status reporting, escalations, and project schedule. Program Managers act as a liaison between the project team and upper-level management to focus attention on their customers’ projects. They prepare and present progress reports to the customer weekly.
