With Net Zero and electrification transforming the way we use energy; the grid is arguably the single most important piece of infrastructure now and for the future. We now have a rare opportunity for an internal candidate to join our Power Systems team and develop skills in Protection &amp; Control (P&amp;C) — the systems that act as the “nervous system” of the grid, constantly monitoring and controlling how electricity flows. P&amp;C ensures that faults are detected and isolated in milliseconds, equipment is protected, and the lights stay on for millions of people. Without it, the electricity network simply couldn’t function.<h2>The Role</h2>We’re looking for someone motivated, curious, and keen to build on their existing CAD skills to become a specialist P&amp;C CAD Technician.
