Responsibilities: • Data Analysis • Collect and analyze data related to logistics processes and procedures • Identify trends and patterns in data to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness • Regularly report on data findings to relevant stakeholders • Supply Chain Management • Monitor inventory levels and track shipments of goods • Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods • Identify and resolve any supply chain issues or delays • Cost Management • Monitor logistics costs and identify areas for cost savings or efficiency improvements • Negotiate contracts and rates with logistics providers • Analyze transportation and storage costs to optimize budget allocation • Process Improvement • Identify areas for process improvement within the logistics department • Implement new procedures and systems to increase efficiency and reduce costs • Regularly review and update logistics processes to ensure effectiveness • Project Management • Plan and execute logistics projects, such as warehouse reorganization or transportation route optimization • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success • Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure on-time and within budget completion • Risk Management • Identify potential risks in logistics operations and develop mitigation strategies • Monitor and track potential risks, such as supplier disruptions or natural disasters • Develop contingency plans to minimize the impact of potential risks on logistics operations • Communication and Collaboration • Communicate with internal teams, suppliers, and vendors to ensure smooth logistics operations • Collaborate with other departments to optimize supply chain and logistics processes • Serve as a liaison between logistics and other departments to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving.
