Job Description:The Sr. Project Manager – M&amp;A, based in Nashville, TN (on-site), will manage and oversee the implementation of New Product lines into the Project Services teams at Nextpower. This position will also have a focus on safety, customer support, and technical expertise in PV solar tracking systems.This role requires strong project management, communication, and organizational skills to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction, with proximity to the engineering team for effective collaboration. What you'll be doing:<ul><li>Essential participation in New Product projects and some participation with R&amp;D, Pilot, and demo projects, along with hands-on work in the R&amp;D yard and direct collaboration with the Engineering team.</li><li>Responsible for your own safety, and shared responsibility for the safety of all Nextpower staff, contractors, and visitors to your project sites. A good understanding of WHS principles and safety management is required</li><li>Read, understand, and comply with Nextpower policies and procedures as outlined from time to time.</li><li>Responsible for managing groups of Projects from PO to Commissioning and taking ownership of all aspects of these Projects.</li><li>Provides technical support for Nextpower customers, ensuring best-in-class customer experience and providing product and systems expertise to the customer</li><li>Develop and maintain technical understanding of PV solar tracking systems and associated tools</li><li>Ensure a strong customer care experience and be able to effectively communicate resolutions for customer issues</li><li>Oversee the safety and daily project workflow of the Technical Adviser(s) and</li><li>Commissioning Teams assigned to the site.</li><li>Coordinate the ordering of tools for the Projects and ensuring availability of tools and training for the Projects</li><li>Manage Project P&amp;L including revenue forecasting, invoicing, cashflow and cost management</li><li>Provide customer field support for installation and quality control, including driving resolution to quality issues by Non-Conformance Report and Construction Deviation Report processes</li><li>Coordinate and drive the successful on-time delivery of all products needed from PO to delivery, liaising with Design Engineering, Supply, Logistics, freight forwarders and the customers.</li><li>Establish, measure and report key performance indicators for customer care to drive behavior and performance</li><li>Play a key role in cross-functional product teams, providing recommendations based on systems integration expertise and customer needs assessment and feedback</li><li>Supports product development, sales, and marketing as requested</li><li>Internal customer voice, an advocate for the customer within Nextpower.</li><li> </li></ul>Here is some of what you’ll need (required):<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience required</li><li>5+ Years of experience as a Project Manager</li><li>Demonstrated experience in managing construction projects, including the use of Gantt charts and other project management tools to document and report on project schedules and expenditures.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills</li><li>Demonstrate adaptability in navigating ambiguity, as this role involves defining actionable steps toward achieving our overarching objectives. The ideal candidate should be proactive in seeking assistance when encountering challenges, persistently pursuing solutions beyond initial setbacks, and promptly escalating any impediments when required.</li><li>Experience in supply chain procurement and logistics</li><li>Experience in and talent for dealing with customer support and O&amp;M issues</li><li>Strong proficiency in communication (written &amp; verbal) and documentation is required.
