Build to simplify.Role Overview:As we expand our presence across Bangalore through dealer-owned and operated experience centres, we are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead sales operations, manage dealer relationships, and drive business growth within the region.Key Responsibilities:Dealer Management:Develop, onboard, and support dealer partners across the assigned territory.Ensure smooth operations and adherence to company policies and standards.Monitor dealer performance and implement improvement plans where needed.Sales &amp; Target Achievement:Drive sales volumes, revenue, and profitability targets for the assigned area.Plan and execute area-level sales strategies to achieve business objectives.Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.Team Leadership:Lead, train, and motivate the sales teams to deliver strong results.Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure high engagement levels.Market Development:Identify and open new market opportunities through dealer network expansion.Collaborate with marketing teams for local events, promotions, and brand visibility.Customer Experience:Ensure superior customer satisfaction at every dealer touchpoint.Handle escalations and resolve customer issues in coordination with relevant teams.Qualifications &amp; Experience:3–8 years of experience in sales and channel management, preferably in the automotive, EVProven experience in dealer handling and territory management.Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and deliver under pressure.Start- up experience is a bonusWhat matters:<ol><li>Quality of work</li><li>structured problem-solving</li><li>Dissatisfaction with mediocre work</li><li>Ability to multi task and handle a dynamic working environment</li><li>Resilient attitude to bounce back after failing</li></ol> About UsExponent simplifies energy for EVs.Co-founded by Arun Vinayak (Ather Energy's Founding Partner &amp; Former Chief Product Officer) and Sanjay Byalal (Former hardware strategic sourcing and cell strategy lead, Ather and Former Supply Chain Lead, HUL), Exponent focuses on solving two sides of the energy problem by building the e^pump (charging station) and e^pack (battery pack) which together unlock 15-min rapid charging.The 200+ strong team of passionate builders has a ton of EV experience and is currently looking for more builders to join one of the best EV teams in India to build &amp; scale Exponent.
