Here is what you will do: <ul><li>Operates independently with minimal supervision. </li><li>Responsibilities at this level include the designing and programming of databases. </li><li>Design and programming is needed for each project and can also be task specific. </li><li>Uses more advanced levels within the software platforms. </li><li>May direct the work of Level I and II GIS Specialists. Responsibilities could include overall project or task management.  </li><li>Independently executes and delivers GIS projects of moderate to significant scope and complexity.</li></ul>The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Produce drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphics of engineering designs using computer-aided drafting software</li><li>Requires a good working knowledge of ArcMap Pro</li><li>ArcGIS -Esri suite of software</li><li>Produce detailed, high-quality cartographic products and accompanying reports</li><li>Compile, manipulate and refine geographic data from a variety of sources including, but not limited to field observation, digital aerial photography, and existing maps</li><li>Perform regular quality control checks of GIS Data and non-spatial databases.</li></ul>
