Repair Oversight<ul><li>Develop and refine preventive maintenance programs to support uptime goals and reduce long-term costs.</li><li>Provide advanced technical guidance for resolving complex mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diagnostic issues.</li><li>Ensure all repairs meet quality, safety, and documentation standards.</li><li>Support field service activities, dispatch technicians, and oversee remote troubleshooting as needed.</li></ul>Environmental Health &amp; Safety (EH&amp;S)<ul><li>Enforce safe work practices, shop protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and hazardous materials handling.</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure compliance with OSHA, state/local regulations, and company EH&amp;S standards.</li><li>Lead safety meetings, incident investigations, corrective actions, and facility inspections.</li></ul>Customer &amp; Stakeholder Communication<ul><li>Communicate repair plans, timelines, cost estimates, and recommendations clearly and professionally.</li><li>Address concerns and resolve issues proactively to maintain high levels of stakeholder satisfaction.</li><li>Provide equipment condition reports and insights to support operational planning.</li></ul>Financial Oversight<ul><li>Manage service department budgets, monitor spending, and ensure cost-effective resource utilization.</li><li>Review repair cost drivers, warranty opportunities, and replace-versus-repair decisions.</li><li>Track KPIs related to labor productivity, equipment uptime, service backlog, and financial performance.</li></ul>Inventory &amp; Asset Management<ul><li>Maintain accurate inventory of parts, tooling, and equipment; ensure all assets are safe and in proper working order.</li><li>Collaborate with procurement on replenishment planning and tooling upgrades.</li><li>Research and justify new equipment acquisitions to support fleet and operational needs.</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Minimum of 7 years of experience in heavy equipment fleet maintenance required.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of management experience within a heavy equipment service, fleet, or maintenance environment.</li><li>Experience with construction, industrial, or material-handling equipment a strong plus.  </li></ul>Essential Skills &amp; QualificationsTechnical Competencies<ul><li>Deep knowledge of heavy equipment systems, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and powertrain diagnostics.</li><li>Ability to interpret schematics, service manuals, and diagnostic software outputs.</li><li>Hands-on experience as a heavy equipment mechanic/technician strongly preferred.</li></ul>Leadership &amp;
