<div><b style="font-size:12pt;">The Role</b></div><div><span style="font-size:12pt;">We are looking for a Site Manager to oversee the operations and performance of two Energy Center plants providing 300MW+ of reliable energy in an off-grid installation.  </span></div><div><span style="font-size:12pt;">You will be the management lead, responsible for coordination with Scale Microgrids staff, the O&amp;M provider, and LTSA providers to ensure effective and safe plant operations.  The power purchasing agreement for this facility is performance-based, with financial penalties tied to system availability and uptime guarantees.  </span></div><div><span style="font-size:12pt;">You will lead and direct a team of operators and maintenance personnel and ultimately be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted utility service delivery at optimal performance and efficiency, while proactively preventing reliability guarantee breaches.  </span></div><div><span style="font-size:12pt;">The role reports to our Sr. Director, Data Center Asset Management, and needs to be based in/near New Albany, Ohio. </span></div><br><br><h3>Key responsibilities will include:</h3><ul><li>Oversee the entire operation of the Energy Center plants</li><li>Ensure compliance with performance-based service level agreements (SLA's) tied to uptime and reliability of the Energy Centers</li><li>Monitor and report on KPIs. Identify performance gaps and lead immediate corrective actions to avoid financial penalties</li><li>Develop continuous improvement activities to support O&amp;M strategic targets</li><li>Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to optimize plant reliability and performance </li><li>Manage relationships with external contractors and vendors for equipment repairs, upgrades, and service agreements.</li><li>Provide regular reports and forecasts on plant performance, risk areas, and operational costs.  Develop and manage annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets</li><li>Develop and maintain emergency response plans for utility system failures, ensuring rapid response to minimize disruptions to data center operations</li><li>Ensure coordination between Energy Center and Data Center operations </li><li>On-call  availability is required for emergencies, with occasional evening, weekend, or holiday work as needed</li></ul><h3>The Ideal Candidate:</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, facilities management, or equivalent experience</li><li>Minimum of 10 years of experience in utility plant operations, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role in operations, maintenance, or engineering</li><li>Experience with reciprocating engine generators and battery energy storage systems</li><li>Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, manage conflicts, and drive performance improvements</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and make decisions under pressure to ensure uninterrupted operations</li><li>Intradepartmental communication skills (verbal and written)</li></ul><br><div><span style="font-size:12pt;">This is a great opportunity to have a long-term impact on a fast-paced, private equity-backed growth business.
