Nights The warehouse Supervisor provides leadership and supervision to the warehouse function under the direction of the Warehouse Manager. This position is responsible for ensuring the warehouse operates at peak efficiency by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals.The shift for this position is 7:00pm-7:00am on a 2x2x3 rotation.Essential Functions/Key Deliverables <ul><li>Provide leadership and supervision to the warehouse function as directed. Monitor and ensure the accuracy of all warehouse hourly labor timekeeping, data entry, including overtime schedules, if applicable.</li><li>Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals. </li><li>Assist in implementation and development of warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, shipping, and receiving. </li><li>Review, complete, and ensure the accuracy of warehouse related documents and shipments. Maintain and report inventory accuracy, aging, HFI, status of finished goods, as well as packaging, dunnage, and raw materials of the plant and warehouse.</li><li>Ensure that all forklifts and warehouse equipment are properly maintained.</li><li>Coordinate the use of SAP transactions throughout the warehouse. </li><li>Participate in recruitment and selection process.</li><li>Manage daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, inhouse logistics, floor productivity, shipping/receiving, and customer service. Monitor the performance and progress of staff. </li><li>Motivate, organize, train, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met. </li><li>Oversee the accurate recording of department employee’s attendance system and provide all necessary information to enable accurate payroll preparation.  </li><li>Ensure quality, delivery to budget and environmental objectives are met. </li><li>Implement, maintain, and monitor all Health and Safety regulations, rules, procedures, standards and policies, hygiene, and security in the work environment.</li><li>Prepare and participate in both internal and external audits.</li><li>Meet regularly with warehouse leads to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention. </li><li>Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. </li><li>Perform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role. </li></ul>Knowledge/Skills/Experience<ul><li>Associate degree in Supply Chain/Business Logistics or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>Previous SAP experience a plus</li><li>MS Office including Excel experience.</li><li>Strong critical-thinking skills with a solution-oriented mindset.</li><li>Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy and organization.</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills.</li><li>Ability to function both independently and as part of a team; must be flexible and excited to grow with the organization.</li><li>Previous managerial experience preferred.</li></ul>If you are a current CANPACK employee, please apply through your <a href="http://workday.canpack.com">Workday account</a>.CANPACK Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law or not related to job requirements, unless such distinction is required by law.
