Our goal is to enable our employees to achieve their fullest potential, and through our associate with Re:Build, provide avenues for personal and professional growthWho we are looking for You’ll be a great fit if you:<ul><li>Take pride in building, aligning, and installing industrial machinery with precision and craftsmanship.</li><li>Enjoy solving mechanical challenges and working with your hands every day.</li><li>Thrive in environments where no two projects look the same — mills, plants, shops, fabrications, and field installations.</li><li>Are comfortable working independently but enjoy collaborating with engineers, machinists, fabricators, and project teams.</li><li>Are safety-focused, reliable, and committed to doing quality work the first time.</li><li>Want to grow from L1 to L5 through training, hands-on experience, and increasing responsibility.</li><li>Are energized by being part of a company rebuilding American manufacturing.</li></ul>If this sounds like you, Optimation offers a long-term home to grow your millwright career. What you will do (Responsibilities increase as you progress from L1 to L5)<ul><li>Install machinery and equipment using layout plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.</li><li>Dismantle, move, assemble, and install machinery using hoists, dollies, lifts, rollers, and rigging equipment.</li><li>Precisely align machinery (shafts, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, mechanical systems) using micrometers, squares, optical alignment tools, plumb bobs, rules, and other precision instruments.</li><li>Bolt, weld, rivet, and fasten components to foundations or supporting structures.</li><li>Operate lathes, mills, and other shop machining equipment as needed.</li><li>Perform rigging and crane work safely and efficiently; advanced rigging is a plus.</li><li>Assist in mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance activities.</li><li>Maintain awareness of construction and industrial site hazards; follow OSHA and company safety standards.</li><li>Display a high level of craftsmanship and strong work ethic in all tasks.</li></ul> What you will bring to the team <ul><li>Physically capable of climbing, lifting heavy objects, working from heights, and entering confined spaces.</li><li>Ability to work in hot, cold, and outdoor environments in all weather conditions.</li><li>Ability to read and write in English and understand mechanical drawings.</li><li>Basic computer and communication skills.</li><li>Regular full-time availability, working a 40-hour day schedule.</li><li>Willingness to work overtime or flexible hours as required.</li><li>Experience working as a millwright, mechanic, or industrial installer is helpful; advanced roles (L4–L5) require demonstrated mastery.</li></ul> Compensation Range: Hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $27.00 to $55.00 based on education and years of experience.
