Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!<h1>Responsibilities:</h1>Network OperationsLocal Area Network (LAN):<ul><li>Monitor and maintain internal network infrastructure including switches, access points, and structured cabling.</li><li>Configure and manage VLANs, port security, and access control within the LAN environment.</li></ul>Wide Area Network (WAN):<ul><li>Support and maintain WAN connectivity between branch offices, data centers, and cloud environments.</li><li>Collaborate with ISPs and vendors to manage bandwidth, SLAs, and troubleshoot external connectivity issues.</li></ul>Virtual Private Network (VPN):<ul><li>Configure and maintain secure VPN tunnels for remote access and site-to-site connectivity.</li><li>Ensure VPN configurations comply with organizational security policies.</li></ul>Wireless Network:<ul><li>Deploy and manage wireless access points and controllers across office and campus environments.</li><li>Integrate wireless LAN with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for centralized authentication, policy enforcement, and device profiling.</li></ul>Proxy Operations:<ul><li>Configure and manage proxy servers to control and monitor internet access.</li><li>Implement URL filtering, content control, and user authentication policies.</li></ul>Firewall Operations:<ul><li>Administer firewall policies and rule sets to protect network boundaries.</li><li>Monitor firewall logs and alerts suspicious activity and potential threats.</li></ul>Cloud Network Management:<ul><li>Manage and monitor cloud-based networking components across platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.</li></ul>Configuration &amp; Deployment<ul><li>Assist in deploying and configuring network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, proxy servers, and wireless controllers.</li></ul>Security &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Implement network security measures such as ACLs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems..</li></ul>Support &amp; Collaboration<ul><li>Provide Tier 2/3 support for network-related incidents and service requests.</li><li>Work closely with system administrators, cybersecurity teams, and external vendors.</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.</li><li>5+ years of experience in network administration or support.</li><li>Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.</li><li>Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network platforms.</li><li>Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG).</li><li>Certifications required/preferred:</li><li>CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) – required</li><li>CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) – preferred</li><li>Fortinet NSE 4 (Network Security Professional) or higher – preferred for FortiGate firewall management</li><li>Experience with Cisco ISE, SD-WAN, and cloud networking certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate) is highly desirable.</li></ul>The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
