This includes but is not limited to: wearing your seatbelt when the vehicle is in motion, safely exiting and entering the flow of traffic, using hands-free cellular features, and obeying all traffic laws.</li><li>Act as a representative of the company, operating a company-provided tractor-trailer with professionalism and courtesy to other drivers.</li><li>Operate a Class A commercial vehicle in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Prioritize safety in all aspects of driving, loading, and unloading.</li><li>Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately, including delivery logs, invoices, inspections, and hours of service logs. Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation for each delivery.</li><li>Maintain open communication with dispatch, warehouse, and leadership. Report any delays, issues, or changes in delivery schedules promptly.</li><li>Operation of computer/ internal freight monitoring systems required.</li><li>Flexibility with scheduling and the ability to adapt to changes in delivery routes or schedules. Available for around the clock shifts to accommodate freight movements.</li></ul>What you have:<ul><li>Authorized to work in the United States.</li><li>Possess a valid state issued driver's license for at least 3 years</li><li>Valid Class A Driver's License with a clean driving record.</li><li>Must possess valid DOT required medical card and be registered with DOT</li><li>2 years of previous tractor-trailer driving experience and/or be a graduate of a State certified and Licensed truck driving school. </li><li>Comfortable operating a tractor-trailer in all types of weather conditions</li><li>Willingness to work overtime and/or possible weekends if the business needs you to</li><li>Ability to sit, stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation</li></ul>Nice for you to have:<ul><li>HS Diploma or equivalent</li><li>Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)</li><li>Experience working in a food based environment</li></ul>Please see here for Misfits Market's <a href="https://www.misfitsmarket.com/careers-privacy">Job Applicant Privacy Notice</a>.
