AECOM's Philadelphia Office is seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Process Designer who is proficient in CAD and BIM to join our dynamic Northeast Water Business Line team. As part of our design team, you will support Project Managers and Project Engineers with the development of mechanical process plans to support the planning and design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, including treatment plants, pump stations, and other supporting structures.The ideal candidate must be curious and passionate in optimizing BIM workflows and procedures in delivering mechanical process design, leading the charge in discovering new and effective ways of using the BIM process to improve efficiency and quality of deliverables.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Working under the limited general supervision of project leaders, will perform technical work utilizing a wide variety of resources, digital tools and hardware with responsibilities including:<ul><li>Generate and development of equipment and piping layouts in Revit based from engineer’s mark-ups and sketches, using both company or client standards.</li><li>Takes on model authoring responsibilities by working closely with Mechanical Engineers to ensure that discipline BIM Models are aligned to design intent.</li><li>Prepare detailed design drawings for the project team.</li><li>Check for conflicts of design elements against other discipline models and resolve them as part of a team in a timely manner.</li><li>Acts as custodian for the discipline’s Revit Family repository.</li></ul></li></ul>
