Report early any contract, quality, program, or cost issues to management with recommendations for resolution and act as lead for commissioning activities on a project.</li><li>Ensure professional representation of the organization in all customer interactions. Interface with customers and external providers for approval of plant acceptance criteria, closure of open issues, and performance tests. Coordinate site activities focused on finalizing customer acceptance certification and manage external organizations providing commissioning equipment, systems, or services (e.g., issue permits to work, provide guidance on health and safety requirements and work practices, accept completed work).</li><li>Actively develop and coach colleagues. Cultivate a network of engineering peers within and outside the business unit. Take a lead role in developing the function within the business unit by gathering and sharing best practices.</li><li>Create standard processes and tools. Use agreed procedures to ensure all commissioning activities comply with safety regulations and contractual requirements and manage small commissioning teams and prepare project documentation for SAT and obtain approvals from utilities for commissioning activities of SAS systems.</li><li>Demonstrate knowledge and experience with third-party products and systems and provide proactive coordination and reporting to the principal commissioning engineer operationally and the commissioning manager functionally.</li><li>You will be ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.</li><li>Living Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions while caring for colleagues and the business.</li></ul>Your Background<ul><li>Thorough knowledge of substation automation systems and different communication protocols and working knowledge and understanding of GRS systems on various protocols (IEC101, IEC104).
