Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!<h1>Responsibilities:</h1><ul><li>Develop, implement, maintain, and improve process capabilities using appropriate tools and methodologies.</li><li>Input and analyze numerical data to identify patterns and relationships for optimal workflow and process development.</li><li>Review Key Performance Indicator (KPI) monitoring systems and leverage technology to achieve goals.</li><li>Drive and champion a continuous improvement culture within the team.</li><li>Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities to prepare products or processes for launch.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all local, legal, and Freudenberg Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.</li><li>Design stamping dies, and other tooling for process improvements.</li><li>Communicate with stamping contractors and vendors regarding product specifications and requirements.</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent required.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of stamping process and die design or equivalent experience required.</li><li>Experience in Steel stamping process, die design, other tooling for process improvements – technologies: Compound, Progressive, and Transfer.</li><li>Desired experience in stamping process for Aluminum and Copper</li><li>Strong conceptualization skills for mechanical components and understanding of component strength requirements.</li><li>Proficiency in CAD and/ or UG for reading, creating and editing drawings (manual and/or CAD), with knowledge of GD&amp;T (ASME 14.5 – 1982).</li><li>Knowledge of Lean System tools and its methodologies; Six Sigma Green Belt or Red-X Apprentice preferred.</li></ul>Communication &amp; Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while engaging proactively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
