Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Performs a variety of tasks. Reports to direct supervisorEssential Functions:<ul><li>Package all products to ensure protection from damage during shipment.</li><li>Prepare all necessary shipping documents required to ensure compliance with Detcon shipping procedures as well as U.S. and foreign government laws and regulations.</li><li>Receive in and Stage Sales Orders as they come through Production</li><li>QA Sales Orders as they get ready to ship, Coordinate if necessary any discrepancies.</li><li>Schedule delivery through approved carrier or as requested by customer.</li><li>Knowledge of ERP System and various shipping solutions systems</li><li>Follow Process dealing with Returned Materials and IDO’s</li><li>Load and organize pallets for larger shipments (strap and wrap)</li><li>Provide freight estimates and shipping costs as necessary</li></ul>Additional Duties:<ul><li>Assist with maintaining a daily shipping log as needed.</li><li>Assist with receiving deliveries as needed.</li><li>Assist with Stockroom Organization as needed.</li><li>Stage Sales Order shipments and coordinate shortages with Production Manager.</li></ul>This person is familiar with the Detcon Quality Policy and Quality System documents and has the authority and responsibility to report product or procedural non-conformances as they are recognized while performing their job functionsEducation/Skill/Experience:<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Excellent telephone and communication skills.</li><li>Strong  computer skills including MS Office</li><li>HazMat training Certificate Required</li></ul>  Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
