Includes monthly closing, year-end audits and reconciling accounts.</li><li>Become a business partner supporting Lead Center and Division Managers in reaching profit targets. Prepares forecasts.</li><li>Maintain internal controls in accordance with Company policy.</li><li>Prepare financial analysis as needed to support business objectives.</li><li>Facilitate the annual business plan process.</li><li>Prepare annual cost plan setting work center rates for inventory valuation and standard product cost.</li><li>Preparation of appropriation requests (AR) and analysis.</li><li>Coordinate physical inventories and encourage cycle counts.</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years’ experience in manufacturing cost accounting preferably in a regulated industry.</li><li>Proven experience in financial planning, reporting, and analysis, preferably in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial compliance, and auditing practices.</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.</li><li>Proficiency in financial software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and provide actionable insights.</li><li>Thorough knowledge of standard cost manufacturing systems and production variance analysis.</li><li>Understanding and experience with setting manufacturing overhead rates desired.</li><li>Experience with fully integrated ERP systems (SAP) and Business Information databases.</li><li>Experience preparing capital expenditure requests with related cash flow and return on investment.</li></ul>The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
