Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!<h1>Responsibilities:</h1><ul><li>Manage on-site activities related to Mechanical Seals.</li><li>Act as a liaison between customers and the EB office for seal repair coordination.</li><li>Perform Mechanical Seal troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) with support from Application Engineering.</li><li>Prepare and submit regular progress reports (weekly/monthly).</li><li>Engage with various customer departments and participate in technical meetings.</li><li>Support the immediate superior in ensuring efficient workshop operations and timely delivery.</li><li>Oversee smooth workshop operations in collaboration with service staff.</li><li>Assign tasks and work closely with service technicians.</li><li>Contribute actively to inventory management.</li><li>Utilize EB ERP systems such as SealCarePro and SAP ByD effectively.</li><li>Prepare Initial and Final Inspection Reports.</li><li>Measure competitor seal parts, prepare drawings, and share them with Application Engineering.</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.</li><li>Minimum 3-7 years technical experience working in the Mechanical Seal Industry with experience in service and on site activities.</li><li>Have a good knowledge of Centrifugal Pumps, Agitators, Mixers, Blowers.</li><li>A fair awareness of Centrifugal Compressors will be an added benefit.</li><li>Have a good knowledge of Wet Mechanical Seals, Supply Systems and API 682 Standards.</li><li>A fair knowledge of ANSI, Engineering Drawings, Limits &amp; Fits Tolerances, etc.</li><li>Ability to independently install mechanical seals.</li><li>Ability to carry out mid-level trouble shooting at site.</li><li>Good command over spoken and written English.
