They should have a strong improvement mindset and be able to handle a high volume of transactions with accuracy, while navigating the many tools and systems we use at Prologis.This person will be mainly responsible for:<ul><li>Assist various accounting teams in processing intercompany recharge requests through the newly created billing process, investigating and resolving potential errors and producing new controls to monitor the performance of the new tool as well as creating future enhancements.</li><li>Reconcile GL balances on intercompany accounts, perform preliminary and final reconciliations, investigate and explain any unreconciled items and prepare action plans to correct the differences noted, calculate and prepare intercompany accruals.</li><li>Prepare payments and collections relating to intercompany, coordinate with Treasury for any settlement, failed payments and more complex transactions.</li><li>Perform monthly and quarterly closing activities in line with corporate closing calendar.</li><li>Assist and provide internal/external auditors, controllers, accounting management, and other members of the accounting team with accurate financial information, support statutory processes for all our 1,200+ BU’s across 12 countries.</li><li>Develop effective working relationships with key partners such as Tax, Treasury, VAT, Legal, Compliance and various accounting teams.</li><li>Implement new tools, help reshape the team’s processes, and propose new ways of working within the newly expanded Cash and IC team.</li></ul>Tell us if you're Ready<ul><li>Financial / Accounting education on a bachelor’s level</li><li>At least 2 years work experience in a similar position, preferably in an international environment</li><li>Solid accounting skills</li><li>Experience with PeopleSoft would be an advantage</li><li>Good analytical skills</li><li>Excellent excel skills</li><li>Fluent in English (spoken and written), knowledge of other European languages is an advantage</li><li>Ability to work in a dynamic, fast moving and demanding environment</li></ul>#LI-KR1People FirstAs a successful global enterprise, Prologis has never lost sight of what matters most - our strong belief that our people are the most important part of our business.
