You will strengthen Zoox’s data foundations by ensuring that data is high-quality, well-defined, secure, and usable for engineering, business, and AI/ML teams.</span></div><br><br><h3>In this role, you will:</h3><ul><li>Maintain and evolve Zoox’s Enterprise Business Glossary, ensuring clear definitions, ownership, and alignment across systems and teams</li><li>Partner with BizApps, PLM, AI/ML, Safety, and Engineering to validate terms, resolve definition gaps, and maintain semantic consistency</li><li>Document business rules, data standards, metadata requirements, and critical data elements to support enterprise governance</li><li>Support data quality initiatives by identifying issues, analyzing root causes, and helping define remediation approaches</li><li>Contribute to evaluating Zoox’s Databricks environment to understand current capabilities and opportunities for governance at scale</li><li>Maintain governance documentation, procedures, and workflows while supporting working groups and cross-team communications</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>BS degree in Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related technical field</li><li>4 to 6 years of experience in data management or data governance within a regulated environment</li><li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down ambiguous problems into structured components</li><li>Experience with SQL, Python, Databricks, or similar data analysis tools</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders</li><li>Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and experience managing multiple concurrent tasks</li><div><br></div></ul><h3>Bonus Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Experience with metadata management, business glossaries, or data catalog tools</li><li>Understanding of data quality practices or governance frameworks</li><li>Familiarity with enterprise applications such as SAP, PLM, or Salesforce</li></ul><br><div><b>About Zoox</b></div><div>Zoox is developing the first ground-up, fully autonomous vehicle fleet and the supporting ecosystem required to bring this technology to market.
